The first train out of Sungai Kolok station for Hat Yai in eight days waits for passengers to board before departing on Monday morning. The detonation of a bomb buried under the track killed a train employee and injured three other people. The attack forced the suspension of all train services between Hat Yai in Songkhla and Sungai Kolok station at the Malaysian border in Narathiwat. Train services resumed on Monday after the completion of the track repairs. Train No 448 to Surat Thani, left Sungai Kolok at 6.30am on Monday.
